LAWYER TALK!
To understand why we felt obliged to mention something so seemingly obvious, take a look at the legal statement posted at the Paladin Press site http://www.e-sell.com/e-sellpaladin/store/index.asp. It seems someone sued Paladin because they didn't like some of Paladin's subject matter. In its defense, Paladin's lawyers argued that what law-abiding citizens chose to read in the privacy of their own homes was a protected right under the First Amendment. The US Supreme Court refused to hear Paladin's case, and as a result various Paladin Press titles have been pulled from the market.
So, not wanting to face similar legal problems ourselves,
we repeat ourselves. Please obey all local laws, and if something posted
on this site sounds dangerous, illegal, immoral, or unhealthy then don't
do it. It's your life, take charge!
